With injuries to Jamie Shackleton, Adam Forshaw, Eddie Nketiah, Liam Cooper and even possibly Stuart Dallas and Gjanni Alioski wrecking havoc to Leeds’ possible options, it’s hard to figure just how Bielsa will react. Unphased he will seem, but proactive he will be.

Here’s what we think he might do:

Kiko Casilla: With a ban impending, Casilla will play up until he can.

Luke Ayling: With Dallas possibly out injured, or at least not 100%, it’s presumed Ayling will come in at right-back and a solid replacement he will be.

Ben White: Imagine not having White in the defence. The 22 year old plays will the temperament and ability of someone many years his senior.

Gaetano Berardi: With Cooper injured, Berardi is the natural replacement.

Barry Douglas: Tough one to call, Alioski is said to be recovering from a knock and Bielsa does seem to favour the North Macedonian this season. Douglas at left-back seems likely given the circumstances however.

Kalvin Phillips: Posted without comment.

Mateusz Klich: Wasn’t exercised too much during the international break and was probably glad for the rest.

Tyler Roberts: Perhaps featuring at number 10 with central midfield injuries persisting and Leeds needing to attack and make it count at Luton. Roberts seems the obvious option here.

Jack Harrison: Coming into his own again after a tough patch of games. Set to pick up where he left off.

Pablo Hernandez: Unfortunately Costa hasn’t been bringing to the team the same level that Pablo does. Having him starting out on the right will lift the whole team.

Patrick Bamford: Nketiah being injured means Bamford remains Leeds’ only senior striker. A goal last time out will hopefully bring a much needed lift to his confidence and he’ll be raring to go come Saturday.
