Leeds United have today announced they have bought back Elland Road.

United sold the stadium back in 2004 after going into financial meltdown but Andrea Radrizzani has stuck to his word, and our home is officially ours again.

The club earlier posted this cryptic video which immediately got everyone talking about a potential buy-back but the club have now confirmed this, and a yearly bill of £1.7 million which United were paying to rent the ground has now been wiped out.

This is the video below as posted by the club on its various media outlets…

And official confirmation…

It’s official, Leeds United are back. This is the best piece of news in years and probably the most significant deal the club will make this summer. Roll on August.
