The season has finally come to a close and with half the first-team squad and a selection of Academy players currently in Myanmar, what better time than to rate all their performances for the season as a whole. We’ll include everybody who has featured on more than two occasions.

Keepers

Felix Wiedwald – 2 – Kept a lot of clean sheets early on but that was mainly down to a strong defence and poor attacking teams. Usually keepers who can’t catch a cold are top shot-stoppers, a bit like Silvestri. Felix is neither, he doesn’t seem to have any strengths. Leeds will be moving him on this summer.

Andy Lonergan – 5 – Provided a slight upgrade on Felix for a while but it didn’t take long to see he wasn’t up to the task either. We’ll always remember Brentford, Andy.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell – 8 – Probably the surprise of the season, BPF has been top quality, with very few errors of note. He commands his area so much better than the other two keepers and he’s a better shot-stopper too. I see no reason why he can’t be our number one next season.

Into the defence…

  1. I would give Victor a 2 for turning up!
Only Alioski hung in to the end, and did OK.
    The rest were best forgotton.
    Hecky maybe a 5.
He inherited crap, then injuries and suspensions, to make his options even crappier!
Let us see what the Summer brings.
Cautiously optimistic has to be my approach.
Heck has to be strong with Radz & Victor, our he will end up with most of the crap we have now!!!

    MOT!
