Not so long ago, we reported that Leeds were interested in the Barcelona B striker Rafa Mujica. Today, it seems that deal is a step closer to being finalised with the forward pictured outside Elland Road by twitter user @weareleeds191

In the same thread, the user identifies the player next to Victor Orta, Leeds United’s head or recruitment, as Mujica himself.
The 20 year old’s contract with the Spanish Giants expires at the end of June and so it is likely that the basis of this deal will be a free transfer. It is unknown as of yet whether this is a signing with immediate first team action in mind or Rafa will take some time to adjust to life in England by playing for the U23s.
Whilst Leeds have only two recognised first team strikers, in Kemar Roofe and Patrick Bamford, the names Ryan Edmondson and Kun Temenuzhkov have become familiar to Leeds fans as free scoring forwards in Leeds more than successful U23 squad.
We will endeavour to keep up to date with this story as it develops.
