Leeds United have been linked with a move for Wolves youngster, Dominic Iorfa.
The youngster, who is just 22 years of age, started his career at Southend United and moved to Wolves in 2010 starting out in their under 18’s squad. He had a loan spell with Shrewsbury Town in 2014 and made 7 appearances. Since breaking through into the Wolves first team squad Iorfa has made 93 appearances.
Iorfa can play at both full-back and centre-back but being 6 foot 4 inches, don’t be surprised if Leeds use him primarily as a centre-back. Despite him being highly-rated at Molineux it is clear that he is not part of Portuguese coach Nuno Espírito Santo’s plans after he was not part of their squad that traveled to Austria.
I think Iorfa would be a decent signing for us. He’s young and can operate at both centre-back and right-back which is always a good thing. You’d think if we did sign him he’d be used as more of a centre-back given the fact we have Luke Aying and Gaetano Berardi who are both good enough for this division and we also have Lewie Coyle who recently signed a new deal at the club before being loaned out to Fleetwood.
