Leeds look set to complete another signing after a positive day

Bamba

Leeds United look set to complete the permanent signing of Sol Bamba tomorrow to complete a very successful day today. First of all the news came out about Neil Redfearn going back to his academy role which whilst surprising, is brilliant news for Leeds United. He’s a bigger man than I because I definitely wouldn’t be working for Cellino after the way he was treated. After that news came the announcement of our second signing of the summer, Lee Erwin from Motherwell. After a bit of research I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s an exciting signing. No, he’s not a proven player at this level or as obviously exciting as somebody like Jermaine Beckford or Patrick Bamford would be but he’s a young player with a lot of potential. Journalists in Scotland really like the look of him and Celtic were interested so he can’t be too bad. On the back of the recent appointments of an assistant manager, a club secretary and a goalkeeping coach things are looking up at the moment which I haven’t been able to say since I saw Lewis Cook play for the first time. If we follow these signings up with a few proven championship players (preferably some wingers and a striker) then I will be more than happy with the summer. However this is Leeds United and you never know what’s going to happen next. Let me know in the comments if you’ve got any ideas on who we should sign or if we should sell anyone.

All will be well. That nice Mr Umbers promised us that none of our young stars are for sale. What can possibly go wrong?

  • Is it me,or does anyone else feel after reading about all the suggested players we are connected with, there seems to be a lot of right sided players capable of playing right back.Makes me think Iwonder if he’s going to sell Sam Byram? Think about it.
