Leeds United have today been linked with a move for Dutch Left-Back Ard van Peppen, according to Roda JC Live.

van Peppen, 31, is currently contracted with Roda JC, where he has a year left on his current contract. He made 32 league appearances for the Dutch Eredivisie outfit as they just avoided relegation by winning the Relegation Play-Off.

The Left-Back started his career at Feyenoord but failed to make an appearance for the Dutch giants. van Peppen has appeared for four clubs since leaving Feyenoord but has never been sold for a transfer fee. He is apparently valued at around £350,000 and is set to sign a two-year deal with Leeds this week with the option of a third year.

van Peppen would presumably be a replacement for Charlie Taylor who will leave the club after his contract expires at the end of this month. It will be interesting to see how the full-back adapts to life in the Championship and it would mark a risky move for a side who want to be fighting for promotion to the Premier League this season.

Check out some of the other players who have been linked with a move to Leeds this summer. It’s going to be interesting to see who comes in, that’s for certain.

Hörður Björgvin Magnússon is a young left sided player. He can play both as center back or left back. Currently at Bristol City but is not happy there. Did play very well for Iceland against Croatia last week and scored the only goal of the game. He will only get better and might not be to costly. 10 international games 2 goals. Would be perfect replacement for Charlie Taylor and cover for the centre backs.
