Leeds have reportedly joined the race to sign Lewis Grabban, along with Nottingham Forest, from Bournemouth. According to Alan Nixon, Grabban is an alternative target to Hernandez that would allow Leeds to also bring in Vydra. Grabban spent last season on loan at Sunderland followed by Villa, scoring 20 in 38 appearances.
This is an interesting one, it really comes down to whether you’d prefer to have two players coming in, one being an exceptional talent in Vydra, or go all in on Abel Hernandez. Grabban is more of a short-term signing, he’s 30 now and if we are to get promoted this season, he wouldn’t be the sort of player to score goals in the Premier League too. Although we should probably cross that bridge when we come to it.
