Today is Marcelo Bielsa’s press conference before Wednesday’s second-leg against Derby. In typical Leeds fashion, there’s been another injury. Kemar Roofe has a calf problem and will miss Wednesday’s game.
On top of that, Roberts will still be missing and he along with Forshaw and Alioski are all likely to miss the playoff final should Leeds progress. It wouldn’t be Leeds if we didn’t have more bad news when all seemed to be settling down really, would it?
Luckily, Patrick Bamford’s suspension is now over and he will start on Wednesday night. His form has been mixed so far but we really need him at his best on Derby, a performance similar to that of the West Brom game would be massively appreciated.
Expect to see a bench with the average age of about 15 on Wednesday, with yet another academy graduate involved as Shackleton is almost nailed on to start the game after Forshaw’s injury.
