With the elation settling after last night’s 1-0 victory over West Brom, Leeds now have to ready themselves to go again against Milwall at their place on Saturday. Though, they have been hit with a bigger hangover than they’d have liked.
The Whites will be without the services of both Liam Cooper and Jamie Shackleton. Cooper will be out for up to 6 weeks with a groin strain, where as the young Shackleton faces up to 4 weeks on the sideline after suffering a hamstring problem.
Both players have been massively involved for Leeds this season and have certainly been major contributors to the success that sees Leeds sit top of the league at the time of writing.
Shackleton has been involved due to the already existing injury of Adam Forshaw and one hopes that Adam’s return is at a stage that allows him to be involved on Saturday. When Shackleton came off against West Brom, Tyler Roberts took his place meaning Mateusz Klich has to drop back into a more defensive position.
Cooper was replaced in the first half by Gaetano Berardi and it is likely the Italian will start at centre back on Saturday.
