Relegated side Norwich City are willing to listen to offers for their creative attacking midfielder Emi Buendia, with Leeds United one of a number of clubs that have eyes on the player, according to a report in the Independent.

The report states that Buendia believes he has proven himself worthy of Premier League football and would like the chance to return to a club that can offer him that.

The Argentine winger, who is capable of playing on both sides but predominantly on the right, made 36 Premier League appearances for the Canaries this season, scoring 1 goal and racking up 7 assists to go with it.

Leeds’ interest in the player has certainly been longstanding and the same report claims that Leeds missed out on the chance to sign the player when he arrived in the country in the Summer 2018 transfer window.

At the time, Norwich paid an alarmingly low £1.3 million for the player. It’s also claimed that Norwich are seeking a fee in the region of £20 million for his services, a very healthy profit for the Norfolk outfit.
