Looking over Barnsley, without any disrespect of course, Leeds host Derby County on the Saturday lunchtime fixture in the next round of fixtures.

Derby County will be without attacking threat Tom Lawrence in this game as he picked up his 5th yellow card of the season in their game against Cardiff City tonight, resulting in a 1 game suspension. It doesn’t need to be said how much Leeds as a club will want to secure a good result against Derby considering how last year’s play off fixture panned out.

This will be in addition to the planned return of Tyler Roberts, who is now apparently match ready and possibly Luke Ayling who is set to play in the under-23s this week, presumably with a view to being in the first team picture not too long after that.

Before the Derby County fixture, Leeds must ensure they prove their dominance over Yorkshire rivals Barnsley, however. That game takes place on Sunday lunchtime and may be tougher than Leeds bargain for with Barnsley expected to lock up and sit back. Not to mention the extra spice of a Yorkshire Derby.
