Just as the Kalvin Phillips rumours were getting too much to handle, Leeds have been handed some positive news as Aston Villa are set to complete the signing of Manchester City defensive midfielder Douglas Luiz for £15m according to John Percy.

As you can see in the video, you wouldn’t play both Kalvin and Luiz in the same team, so it seems as though Villa may be moving on. In slightly less positive news, the Daily Mirror reported yesterday that both Wolves and Bournemouth are now taking an interest in Phillips. I’m not sure about you guys but seeing Lewis Cook and Kalvin Phillips playing Premier League football for Bournemouth of all teams may be too much to take.
In other news, Leeds are reportedly said to be taking a slightly weakened squad to Australia, with Bielsa not a massive fan of the long-haul trip so close to the start of the season. Costa, Klich, White, Clarke and Shackleton are all rumoured to be staying at home to work on their fitness.
