According to the Telegraph, Leeds have made initial enquiries to see whether Steve Bruce would be interested in becoming the next Leeds manager after talks with Marcelo Bielsa have slowed down.
It was thought that Bruce would stay at Aston Villa after they lost the playoff final but due to the ongoing financial worries they’re going through, it’s likely that Bruce will leave the club sooner rather than later.
Bruce would definitely be a more experienced choice for the role when it comes to the Championship, nobody has won more promotions than him. Although with his Man United past it wouldn’t take too many defeats before some fans turn on him.

Let us know what you think, would you prefer Steve Bruce or Marcelo Bielsa?

  1. Steve Bruce would do for me.
Great promotion record, and a seems a good bloke too.
This delay with ‘El Loco’ is typical Leeds United, wasting valuable recruiting time!! Again!!
‘El Loco’ was recommended by Victor, whom he got to know in his journalist days. Say no more!
‘El Loco’ has not won anything for 20 years.

  2. NO NO NO Bruce spent all that money and where are the Villa now. Some of the players were not very good either. We have been down this road before with some previous managers who left us millions in debt and having to sell sell sell. My tip is stall on track with Bielsa or go for GLEN HODDLE. He has is a fantastic coach look what he did with Swindon and England to Semi’s. With some money behind him just think what he could do with Leeds.
    Marching on together

  3. Stop wasting precious time and just get Mick McCarthy in now. Steve Bruce despite all the money spent on players has not delivered – say no more.
