Leeds already looking at strikers for January

According to ESPN Leeds are interested in signing Danny Ings from Liverpool in the January transfer window. This would come as no surprise to most, he’s been linked to Leeds for a few transfer windows now. Danny Ings suffered a bad injury early on in his Liverpool career and has never been able to claw his way back into the setup.

At 25, Ings will be looking to start games sooner rather than later and Leeds could be the perfect club for him to rediscover his form that got him signed by Liverpool in the first place. Although Lasogga has looked good in spells, we don’t really have anyone else up to scratch at this stage. With our poor performances recently a change in formation could also be possible, which could result in Lasogga and Ings forming a partnership.

Obviously it’s early days, but Ings would be an excellent signing of intent in January if we’re still around the top six at that stage.

  1. priority should be a keeper and a midfielder with a lot of command, somebody with a bit of authority (Joey Barton like)The strikers we have should be able to do a job with some good coaching.
