It’s safe to say Leeds have been busy in the transfer market so far this summer and that shows no signs of slowing down. It’s very possible that before the end of this week, Leeds will have three more players to add to the first-team squad. The first of the lot is of course, Samu Sáiz, who will be unveiled after completing his medical. We’ve all heard enough about him by now to presume he will score 20 on our way to promotion.
The next man up is Caleb Ekuban, who I don’t think anybody can really claim to know too much about. If Cellino had made this signing, I think there’d be a lot of complaining going on right now. But after everything else Radrizzani has done this summer, he’s probably allowed this one. With Wood likely to be our lone striker again this season, there will be little pressue on Ekuban to perform from the get go, which should help.
To wrap the week up, Ezgjan Alioski’s Swiss club Lugano have claimed that he his departure to join an English club is “imminent.” Now I’m no genius, but I think there’s a pretty good chance that club might just be Leeds. Now I don’t want to overreact but with Pablo Hernandez, Samu Sáiz and Ezgjan Alioski all playing behind Chris Wood, I’d say promotion is all but nailed on.
Not a goalscorer then. LOL
RIGHT! But I think that Caleb Ekuban will surprise us
The six million dollar question who will depart ? Will they try to balance the books – last year Cook went – every player has their price hopefully Wood & Veira will remain not bothered about Green
