The mark of a good youth prospect is one who’s 17th birthday present is a professional footballing contract. That is no more true than today, Nohan Kenneh has signed professional terms with Leeds.

Kenneh will be no stranger to those who keep up with the development of Leeds’ youth sides with the central defender making regular features for the U18s and U23s. Though some may also remember the player making an appearance during the senior squads’ pre season schedule last Summer. The Liberian defender has also begun to make appearances on the international stage having been called up to the England U17s on numerous occasions.

Kenneh is the latest in a long and proud line of Leeds youth players, there has never been a clearer path for the young talent of Leeds to make their way into the senior team at Leeds. Over the past season, names such as Jack Clarke, Jamie Shackleton and more recently Jordan Stevens have begun to make meaninful impacts on the team’s success.
