According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are in advanced talks about signing West Brom striker Tyler Roberts for around £2.5m. The 19-year-old has spent this season so far on-loan at Walsall, scoring 5 goals in 17 league games.
If Leeds do secure this signing, it would be for the first-team squad. It would be a sensible move because he wouldn’t be expecting to start straight away and he could ease his way in. With the transfer window coming to an end, we won’t have long to wait to see if this move comes to fruition.
Leeds have been interested in the striker for a while but Daniel Sturridge’s move from Liverpool has helped speed up the process.
