Finally at long last Pierre-Michel Lasogga is fit to play for Leeds after what seems like an eternity out. Will he start tomorrow though, or will Roofe keep his place? This is the team we would go with for the game…

GK – Felix Wiedwald – Had one of his better games against Norwich which isn’t saying much, he was slightly above average. I really need to see some consistency before I can stop worrying every time the ball goes near him.

Into the defence…

RB – Luke Ayling – Like the rest of the team he’s been much improved recently. I feel like he has a goal coming soon because he gets into great positions on the edge of the box frequently.

CB – Pontus Jansson – It’s been good to see the real Jansson back recently, I was starting to think we had another case of the Andy O’Brien’s on our hands.

CB – Liam Cooper – I would like to see Pennington play soon as I believe he could be a really good player, but you can’t take out Liam Cooper’s leadership really so until someone else steps up it’s going to stay like this.

LB – Gaetano Berardi – Despite Berardi’s comments earlier this week, he is our best option at left-back and he means much more to this Leeds team than just talent.

Into the midfield…

CM – Eunan O’Kane – We’ve got a lot of games coming up so I’d give Vieira a rest here after he put in a tired-looking performance against Norwich. O’Kane was the standout player earlier this season.

CM – Kalvin Phillips – The transformation from scapegoat to first name on the team-sheet is getting closer every week, he’ll never convince everyone but those who understand the game rate him, with good reason.

CAM – Pablo Hernandez – Probably going to get abused for dropping Samu Sáiz but I just think he needs a rest, he’s been poor for three games in a row now. Hernandez in his natural position is hardly a downgrade anyway, with Samu ready to come off the bench if needed.

Into the attack…

RW – Paweł Cibicki – One of the most impressive players from the win over Norwich, he deserves to keep his spot, especially with Dallas still missing through injury.

LW – Ezgjan Alioski – Alioski playing on the left means he can put more crosses in which I think will come in handy tomorrow…

ST – Pierre-Michel Lasogga – Roofe has done a good job but I think the Norwich game proves he can’t start alone upfront every game. If Lasogga has some good service, he’ll score goals and Alioski playing on the left with Cibicki on the right means he’ll have good quality crosses coming in all day. If he does start, I expect him to score.

Let us know what team you would go with for the game tomorrow!

Lasogga can urn his place back from the bench like anyone else would after.players walking straight back in to teams without earning there place cause problems within squads

    I think Roofe will start.
    Other selections look good.

I’d love to see Shaughnessy given a chance in the heart of midfield, he’s preferred position, I completely agree with Lasogga coming in because he’ll score if he gets the service from the wings.
