Leeds United are going to be bidding farewell to a whole host of key players this summer after they were relegated on Sunday.

A 4-1 hammering at home to Spurs at the weekend ended Leeds’ three-year stay in the Premier League to a chorus of boos from the home fans at Elland Road, and rightly so after such an embarrassing performance.

It leaves the club needing a rebuild of quite significant proportions to get back into the Premier League, with a number of players needed in the coming months.

Alongside arrivals, there will be players that are leaving the club to fund the incoming signings.

While nothing is confirmed, we look at two players who we know are already out of the door and certainly going to be leaving…

Jack Harrison

In tears at full-time, Jack Harrison is one of the few players after the match on Sunday who received a warm reception from a ferocious Elland Road crowd.

The winger scored Leeds’ first and final goals in the division, both with his weaker right foot, and put in a final performance that demonstrated what Leeds are going to be missing – a professional who has consistently put in tremendous effort, even if his form has tailed off at certain points.

He went individually around to fans post-match, a brave decision when the side faced such general animosity, but it not only showed his immense character, but that he was leaving.

Since then, talkSPORT have revealed that both Aston Villa and West Ham are keen on signing him, with both sides knowing that Leeds cannot stand in the winger’s way if the release clause is met.

Tyler Adams

Leeds have an international captain in their squad in Tyler Adams, and his performances this season have underlined just why he’s held in such regard for both club and country.

He hasn’t played a game for Leeds since that 2-2 draw at home to Brighton, suffering a hamstring injury that ended his season prematurely, and he was sorely missed.

If anything, his value to the side as a Premier League-quality player was further emphasised by how badly the midfield played when he wasn’t there to break things up.

Bola VIP have reported that a £30million release clause is present in the midfielder’s contract, and Sevilla are keen on signing him.
