The first PFA Championship player of the month nominees have been announced and in rather surprising fashion, Leeds have two players up for the award.

Pablo Hernandez

Pablo had a wonderful August, scoring three goals and assisting two. Our last game against Boro showed just how important he is to this team, Samu is half the player without Pablo next to him. This month has proven for me that Pablo is the most important player to this team, he can always pull a little bit of magic out of nowhere when we need it most.

Kemar Roofe

I think it’s fair to say nobody expected this after the signing of Bamford. Last season Roofe spent most of the time looking in the air as the ball was hoofed towards him. It’s amazing to see what happens when we start playing balls in behind for him to run onto. Roofe has looked brilliant so far and a key member of this Bielsa side.

These votes go towards the official vote, so make sure you vote for your favourite, or maybe one on your phone and one on your PC. Let’s get another win for the boys!
