Leeds United right-back Cody Drameh looks set to remain at Elland Road despite deadline day interest.

Incomings have been the main story of the transfer deadline day for Leeds, or the lack of them, but outgoings are also being discussed.

Right-back Cody Drameh is someone that could have been in for a move in August, as Premier League minutes look at a surplus with Rasmus Kristensen nailing down the starting spot.

His incredible loan spell with Cardiff City means that it wouldn’t be too much of a shock to see Championship clubs register keen interest in him before the window slams shut.

However, LeedsLive’s Beren Cross has revealed that the club are not going to let the young right-back go despite serious interest today in his signature:

This comes after Jesse Marsch spoke of “tough conversations” between himself and the 20-year-old earlier in the month.

Will Leeds sign a forward before the deadline?

Good job that we’ve kept him close by, because not only can we not really lean on Luke Ayling yet as he recovers, but Kristensen hasn’t exactly been a top performer.

Drameh looked very good against Barnsley and it was an ideal audition for him if he was in the running to get a league start.

A loan could have been the way to go for him if there was more young cover for him in the under-21s.

I hope to see more of him, now that we know that he’s going nowhere.
