Ahead of the Yorkshire derby against Doncaster at the Keepmoat on Saturday, I asked Donny fan, Marcus Pacey his thoughts on their season so far and the game on Saturday.
Firstly, what’s your opinion on the way it’s working out for you this season?
My opinion for the season so far is that we have not been very comfortable one week we can have a great result and the next week we can have a very poor one.
Do you feel it was harsh for everyone to have written you off at the start of the season?
I do feel it was harsh but I don’t blame people as we were one of the favourites to get relegated just coming up from league one.
Has much changed with your team since we met in the cup earlier in the season?
Not a lot has changed apart from signing Federico Macheda on loan from Manchester United.
What’s the general opinion of Paul Dickov as your manager?
I think he a good manager and he has settled in well at the club.
What’s the general opinion of Leeds United from a Doncaster Rovers supporter?
Leeds are a strong club who have got the potential to be a premier league club once again.
Where do you think you need to strengthen during the transfer window?
We need to strengthen up our defence, right now they are not performing the way I would like, lots of silly mistakes.
Any good pubs to recommend for our travelling fans?
We only have one pub that’s remotely walking distance from the ground and that’s the Beefeater, it’s a good pub to go to before a match and there is never any trouble.
Who should we look out for as your danger man?
Right now I would say Mark Duffy is playing well at the moment.
What formation will you likely play?
I think it will be a 4-4-2 but a defensive one.
What will be your likely line up?
I’m going to go with;
Any players from Leeds that you would like to sign?
Its got to be Ross McCormack he’s been great this season.
Finally, prediction for the game?
Sad to say but I’m thinking a Leeds 3-1 win.
