Leeds United came through an FA Cup tie against Accrington Stanley relatively unscathed to book their place in the fifth round of the competition.

The Whites completed a comfortable win thanks to a first-half stunner from range by Jack Harrison and second-half goals put the game to bed from Junior Firpo and Luis Sinisterra. Leeds sealed their place in the next round for the first time since 2016.

The draw for the next round is set to be completed tonight at 7PM before the game between Derby County and West Ham United.

Focus now shifts to Leeds’ next away clash, a Premier League meeting with Nottingham Forest, and Jesse Marsch knows anything but a win will do nothing to alleviate any pressure he is under at the moment.

Here, we look at all the latest team news coming out of Leeds’ weekend FA Cup triumph, as the battle at the bottom clash on Sunday looms.

Robin Koch

The German centre-back will be unavailable against Nottingham Forest due to suspension. He played against Accrington but has accumulated five yellow cards in the league so will miss the clash.

Wilfried Gnonto

Gnonto is available again, he served a suspension against Accrington for picking up a pair of yellows in the two games against Cardiff City.

Who did Leeds sign Gnonto from?

Stuart Dallas

Dallas is yet to return to action following his leg break in April, with clean-up surgeries needed since to correct minor problems. He will continue his rehabilitation away from the field for now.

Crysencio Summerville

Summerville was ruled out for a month after his ankle injury sustained in the first match against Cardiff. Marsch said: “Summerville should be back training next week”via Phil Hay.

Archie Gray

Gray’s ankle issue from the earlier stages of the season looks to be close to being resolved, but he was still absent from Leeds’ meeting with Accrington, in the same update as Summerville Marsch confirmed Gray is “getting close” and added that he has begun training, again via Phil Hay.

Luis Sinisterra

Sinisterra made his first start after returning from injury against Accrington and scored his first goal since the lengthy absence following his foot issue. He is back to full fitness having played a part in the last few fixtures and is in line for a return to the starting XI in the league, too.

Adam Forshaw

Forshaw was also missing from the game, but Marsch revealed back on the 6th of January that he is scheduled to be due to return very soon, having returned to training. However, he was confirmed as out of the Accrington game and no time frame was placed on his return.

Liam Cooper

Cooper was missing from the match as Marsch revealed that he was carrying a knock, and that it was best to not risk him. He was a doubt for the Accrington game but could be involved against Forest.

Tyler Adams

Adams was also a doubt for the game against Accrington and wasn’t risked at all, despite Marsch saying both he and Cooper were not expected to be long-term, prior to Accrington he said: “I just want to see where they’re at. I want to give them still the chance because I don’t think their injuries are so bad.”
