Plenty of Leeds United fans have been reacting online to the performance of Patrick Bamford during their side’s 2-0 defeat at West Ham on Monday night.
It was another disappointing night in the capital for Marcelo Bielsa’s side in front of the Sky cameras, and Bamford was one player in particular who may well have been left frustrated by events at The London Stadium.
Things initially started promisingly for Leeds, with both Tyler Roberts and Bamford himself seeing goals disallowed inside the opening ten minutes.
But after Jesse Lingard scored on the rebound after his initial penalty had been saved by Illan Meslier, following a trip on the on-loan Manchester United by Luke Ayling, the hosts took control of the game, doubling their lead before half time when Craig Dawson headed home from a corner before half time.
Even so, Leeds did have chances to get back into the game after the break, with Bamford himself missing two big opportunities, dragging an effort off target when one on one after being played in by Diego Llorente, before firing well over from close range after Raphinha’s pull-back.
Perhaps not surprisingly given the significance of those two chances, plenty of Leeds fans were keen to discuss Bamford’s performance as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the game.
Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.

It was undoubtedly a hugely frustrating night for Leeds and Bamford on Monday.
With the chances that the striker squandered, you do feel as though there was more than enough in that game for Leeds to get something out of it.
Indeed, you do feel as though this does highlight the need for Leeds to bring in another striker in the summer transfer window to ensure they can still be a threat next season when Bamford goes through spells like this, with the striker failing to score in each of his last five games.
Even so, it should not be forgotten that Bamford has made a big contribution to getting Leeds to a position of relative comfort in the Premier League table this season, so it would seem harsh to write him off completely because of this recent run.
