Plenty of Leeds United fans have been praising Cody Drameh following his performances for the club’s Under 23s side against Burnley on Monday.

Leeds’ young players rounded out their title-winning Premier League 2 Division Two campaign with an excellent 5-2 win over Burnley, and Drameh was one who certainly caught the eye in that victory.

Having joined Leeds from Fulham last summer, Drameh has enjoyed a rather impressive campaign for the club at Under 23s level, and he ended it in perfect style against Burnley.

The 19-year-old opened the scoring with his first goal of the season for the club, and went on to produce a solid performance in his more natural defensive role for Leeds as well in that match.

Perhaps not surprisingly therefore, plenty of Leeds fans were keen to heap praise on Drameh as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts on the game.

Indeed, many were quick to suggest that Drameh could soon find himself in the first-team again, following his inclusion on the bench for Saturday’s first-team defeat at Brighton.

Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.

It would make sense for Drameh to get a senior opportunity in the next few weeks.

The teenager clearly impressed this season, and a chance in the first team would be well deserved recognition of that.

Indeed, Leeds do have form for bringing through young players in recent years, and giving Drameh that opportunity would be a continuation of that run, with the defender evidently set for a bright future.

With that in mind, it could be argued that Leeds and Bielsa would not need to feel as though they are taking a risk by doing that, given the confidence and ability Drameh has already shown over the past few months.
