Thankfully, in today’s press conference Marcelo Bielsa announced that Jack Clarke, Leeds’ dynamic and exciting left sided midfielder, is fit and well. He also announced that Clarke looks set to return to match-playing action with an appearance for the Under-23s next week. After which, he will be available for first-team selection.
Clarke, has been injured since the Middlesbrough game during which he was taken ill and had to be taken off at half-time, later he appeared to become seriously ill and was stretchered off from the subs bench to the nearby hospital.
Jack Clarke has attracted interest and admiration from figures across the world of football this season and has proven to be decisive in numerous games where has has come on and made an impact for Leeds. Most notably, Aston Villa away just before Christmas where his presence kickstarted Leeds into coming from 2-0 down to win 3-2. A game which will live long in the memory of many Leeds fans.
Marcelo Bielsa also announced the team to face Bristol City will remain unchanged from that which thrashed West Brom 4-0 on friday.
