Former Leeds United and Wolves striker Robbie Keane has reacted to Luke Ayling’s goal and celebration at Molineux from Saturday.
The Whites came away from Molineux with another huge win, exactly one year on front heir comeback under Jesse Marsch – with this victory lifting Leeds to 14th in the table.
Leeds’ same three goalscorers from that 2022 triumph were also on the scoresheet today, with Jack Harrison, Luke Ayling, and Rodrigo joining Rasmus Kristensen in finding the net.
Luke Ayling’s celebration
Last season’s last-gasp winner for Leeds brought a very poorly recreated version of Robbie Keane’s iconic celebration of a cartwheel, forward-roll, and then finger pistols, as he was mobbed by his teammates:
His goal to make it 2-0 on Saturday was greeted by the exact same celebration in the same area of the pitch:
Has Robbie Keane seen this moment?
Imitating the Republic of Ireland legend has brought a reaction from the ex-Leeds striker, as he commented on Leeds’ Instagram post enjoying this fine moment for the right-back:

Is Gracia the right manager for Leeds?
Yes

No

Ayling had fans on edge in the first half when he picked up a yellow card and was being bombarded down the wing by Daniel Podence.
However, that moment was incredible and just about sums him up.
It’s moments like this as why Ayling will go down as a true Leeds icon, creating such memories for the fans in massive games, time and again.
The man has some truly brilliant celebrations for someone who doesn’t score often.
