It’s been a tough few months for Casper Sloth. Completely frozen out by Uwe Rösler during the first few months of the season, it looked as if his days at Elland Road were numbered. Plenty of goals and assists for the Under 21’s made fans ask the question of why Sloth wasn’t being included in Rosler’s squad but for whatever reason he remained on the sidelines.

Now it looks as if Sloth’s career at Leeds may well go on beyond January. Out went Rösler, in came Steve Evans. Another good performance from the Danish international for the Under 21’s has forced Evans to include him in the 20-man squad to face Blackburn on Thursday night.

I thoroughly believe Sloth has the quality to play at this level of football and I can’t see why he hasn’t been given as much of a chance as others. I understand Lewis Cook cannot be dropped, he’s just fantastic but both Luke Murphy and Alex Mowatt have been well below par in recent weeks. If he doesn’t impress then I’ll hold my hands up and admit I was wrong but with the position we’re in, why shouldn’t he be given the chance?

Let us know, should Sloth be given another chance or isn’t he good enough to play for Leeds?
