FC Twente and Poland midfielder Mateusz Klich is set to join Leeds according to the players Twitter account.

Klich has played in the first division in both Holland and Germany, featuring for the likes of VfL Wolfsburg as well as Kaiserslautern and PEC Zwolle. Most recently Klich has been at FC Twente where he featured in 29 games scoring 6 goals and assisting 4. He has also played at international level for Poland, scoring once in 10 appearances.

Now it looks as if the £1 million rated midfielder could be set for a stint in English football with Leeds.

After a Tweet from user @A_Winko stated that Leeds United are interested in the midfielder. A conversation followed discussing whether Klich could cope with the demands of English football before Klich himself responded, confirming he’s ready for the challenge should it happen.

Having never seen the player I can’t comment on whether he’ll be any good but it will be interesting to see how he copes with Championship football. Judging by his profile on Transfermarkt Klich is a more attacking-minded central midfielder which is certainly a type of player we lacked last year.

What are your thoughts? Have you seen Klich, can you see him being a success in English football? Let us know below.

Can’t comment either way , my choice from the outset would be Charlie Adam. Not many had heard of Aaron Mooy last season and now they have ! – we need several players so hopefully this guy will be one of several new faces

If he’s played in.the top flight in both Germany and Holland then he must be good, but the question I have is will he have the pace to pose problems in the championship.
