Jon Newsome has been piling praise on Leeds United utility man, Stuart Dallas, labelling the Northern Ireland international as ‘incredible’.

Leeds have had an outstanding season back in the Premier League, with Dallas excelling for Marcelo Bielsa.

Dallas’ overall performances have been exceptional, but it is his versatility that has once again really caught the eye.

The 30-year-old has been ever-present for Leeds this season in the Premier League, featuring in all-but nine minutes of league action.

Bielsa has used him at left-back at the start of the season and, right now, he’s got him playing as an attacking midfielder.

Between that, there’s been other stints at full-back and more disciplined roles in the midfield for a player that arrived as a winger.

Speaking exclusively to LeedsAllOver, Newsome praised Dallas:

Stuart Dallas has had an absolutely outstanding season. He also had an outstanding season last year.

The thing about him is that he came to the club as a left winger, but if you go around it, I think he’s played left-back, right-back, central midfield, defensive midfield, he’s played in-behind Patrick Bamford as a No.10.

Last game of the season, give him the goalkeeping gloves and he will have been in every position. He’s incredible.

Dallas has been superb this season in the Premier League, not just because of his versatility, but also because of the impact he’s having on the team.

He’s scored seven goals and registered two assists this season, which is an outstanding return for any midfield player in the Premier League, let alone one that’s new to the division.

Bielsa must absolutely love what the Northern Irishman brings to the Leeds squad.

As many might well point out in the coming weeks, he is deserving of the club’s Player of the Year award.
