Leeds’ brilliant 2024 league form continued at the weekend as they cruised past Rotherham United to record a sixth straight league win since the new year.
A home unbeaten run since the start of the season is something that Daniel Farke will be delighted with, and long may it continue.
Leeds 3-0 Rotherham: Summerville braces sees Whites glide past Millers
Given the Millers’ overall Championship woes this season, especially having not won on the road, it seemed a foregone conclusion that Leeds would come away with maximum points, more so after taking the lead.
That was made totally sure when Crysencio Summerville raced clear from a Georginio Rutter driving run, slotting past Viktor Johansson for 2-0.
When the Dutchman was brought down in the box not long after, he took his chance for his second and Leeds’ third with a wonderful Panenka.
Where will Leeds finish in 23/24?

Feyenoord man shares bizarre transfer comment to Summerville
The winger took to Instagram to share snippets from the outing on Saturday, including his ‘sleeping’ celebration with Willy Gnonto:
Amongst the comments reacting to Summerville’s display was Feyenoord right-back Lutsharel Geertruida, with this peculiar message:
Summerville will be of interest in the summer, but not for Feyenoord
It doesn’t seem that a club like Feyenoord will have the clout to put down £40m-plus for Summerville, which is what is surely going to be needed.
He’s going to be a top-flight player next season no matter whether we’re promoted or not, but his form is giving us the best chance possible of achieving that.
Summerville seems very happy here, though, so there shouldn’t be anything to worry about right now.
