Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has totally ruled out the sale of Jack Harrison this month, as Newcastle United remain keen.

Leeds have bid farewell to two vital players this transfer window in Kalvin Phillips and Raphinha, as they joined Manchester City and Barcelona respectively.

It doesn’t stop there with speculation this summer, though, as Jack Harrison is another that has been mooted for a move elsewhere.

It has been frequently reported that Newcastle United have targeted the Leeds winger as a potential option to bolster Eddie Howe’s attack, with their £25million valuation of the eight-goal man emerging – per The Athletic.

What has also been clear is that this sort of approach would be nowhere near Leeds’ high valuation of above £35million for Harrison.

Accepting at any price, though, is now out of the question, with Andrea Radrizzani sharing his stern view on the matter during an interview with The Athletic.

When asked about such interest and whether he could leave, the Italian stated:

“Absolutely not. There is no way. Jack stays here.”

Losing Harrison at this stage would be a catastrophic blow to our season, because there is virtually no chance of replacing him properly.

Not only would we be in a race against time to find the right replacement, clubs would be wise to our sudden influx of cash, especially after other sales, and drive their asking price up.

We cannot churn this squad too much from the one that stayed up, and after losing our top scorer, letting the man second in the charts for us leave would be disastrous.

I have very high hopes for Harrison this season after 2022 was such a strong year for him, and this show of resilience from the club will be a huge confidence boost for him.
