With the news breaking today that Kiko Casilla is understood to be under investigation for an incident of racism that occurred during Saturday’s 1-0 loss to Charlton, it is somewhat likely that he may not be involved in tonight’s starting line up against West Brom.

This may be the case if Leeds believe Kiko’s mental focus may suffer as a result of the ongoing investigation hanging over his head, and putting him in the spotlight would only further this issue.

Further, Leeds may also take the stance that they do not feel it is socially responsible to involve a player with such serious accusations levelled against him.

In his place would likely come Ilan Meslier, the French youth international who is on loan until the end of the season. Meslier has had an encouraging start to the season in Carlos Corberan’s U23 side.

However, the absence of Pablo Hernandez means that Marcelo Bielsa may want to ensure he has enough attacking fire power on the bench, and so we might get the situation as on Saturday where Jack Clarke is included in the match day squad.

A reminder that on Saturday, Meslier dropped out to accommodate Clarke. As under the EFL’s loan rules, Leeds can only have a maximum of 5 loan player included in the squad.

This therefore means that Leeds may opt for Kamil Miazek between the sticks as he is at the club on a permanent basis.

This article is a complete load of rubbish without any basis of fact, except that a charge has been brought against Casilla !!
