As rumoured throughout this window, the young striker Kun Temenuzhkov has left Leeds to join CF La Nucia. The club announced it on their twitter earlier today.
The 19 year old has joined on a loan deal, which makes this one interesting. Marcelo Bielsa has been adamant that he prefers players, who he rates, are better off staying and training with the first-team then going elsewhere. It is therefore likely this deal will be made permanent at the end of the season.
Kun’s first-team opportunities have been few and he hasn’t been involved much with the U23s either. A once highly rated prospect after joining from Barcelona, this season has been a curious one for the youngster as it’s unclear whether he’s fallen out of favour at Leeds or has expressed concern at his lack of progression at Leeds.
This isn’t likely to garner any income for Leeds and his wages aren’t thought to be too dear.
