Crystal Palace could be without Joachim Andersen and Nathaniel Clyne this Sunday when they welcome Leeds United to Selhurst Park.

Both sides come into this weekend looking to end runs of four games without wins as they face off in South London on Sunday.

The Whites will be without Luis Sinisterra as he serves a one-match ban following his red card in the 0-0 draw at home to Aston Villa.

Leeds aren’t alone in their selection dilemmas for this weekend, with Crystal Palace and Patrick Vieira having to shuffle the side that just lost to Chelsea.

Nathaniel Clyne had to be taken off on a stretcher during the first half of their game on Saturday after rolling his ankle, seemingly seeing him likely to be ruled out of this weekend.

There is no timescale on his potential absence from the Eagles lineup, and he’s not the only player that Vieira could be without when Leeds travel to South London on Sunday.

Joachim Andersen was missing from Saturday’s game with the Blues as he picked up an issue during training.

Post-match, Vieira said this about Andersen (via Leeds Live):

“He is injured, I’m told. Don’t think it’s hugely serious, but definitely a niggle.”

Losing these two could be a huge blow for Vieira and Palace, given how they’ve performed this season.

Andersen has been one of their best players so far this season alongside Marc Guehi, and having to make changes to that partnership is not ideal.

Having said this, Palace have decent depth in their squad where they can cope fairly well without these players, and they still have players to worry about going forward.

We’ll need to be on top form irrespective of these setbacks.
