Leeds United’s Kalvin Phillips has reacted to his best moment from the win over Crystal Palace, involving Conor Gallagher.

Elland Road was rocking on Tuesday night with Raphinha’s last minute goal cueing pandemonium, while other feisty moments got the crowd up.

Strong tackles were aplenty and the biggest of the lot came from Kalvin Phillips in the first half, as he flew into a tackle on Crystal Palace’s Conor Gallagher.

The recent England international took the tackle well, getting straight up with no complaints:

Phillips shared the video to his Instagram account, sending a message to the Palace midfielder:

Gallagher grafted hard all game and looked like a good fit for us, should we have signed him.

I wasn’t too keen on his foul on Raphinha but his commitment levels are bound to have him already instilled as a fan favourite at Selhurst Park you’d imagine.

It’s great to see that he took the challenge in the spirit it was made.

In what was a slow half, that moment was great for the fans to keep up the noise.
