Brenden Aaronson has been reunited with Weston McKennie at Leeds United following the Whites’ move to sign the Juventus midfielder last night.
Leeds have been busy this month in the January transfer window, adding Max Wober and Georginio Rutter early to solve two key issues in the squad.
In the last 24 hours they have moved to sign McKennie and Diego Monteiro, with the former’s arrival on loan from Juventus particularly eye-catching, including an option to buy for a reported £30m initially.

There’s been a heap of content surrounding McKennie and Tyler Adams welcoming him to Elland Road, including a post and interview from the club’s official media.
Adams, though, isn’t the only USMNT teammate that McKennie is linking up with at Leeds, with Aaronson a key part of Marsch’s squad at Elland Road.
Over on the attacking midfielder’s Instagram story, there was a message welcoming McKennie: “Love to see it!”

McKennie could debut for Leeds on Sunday when they head to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest.
Are you happy with the signing of Weston McKennie?

It’s great to see the USMNT buzz around McKennie arriving at Elland Road.
Aaronson is a part of that and he’s going to be crucial in helping McKennie settle into his new surroundings in West Yorkshire.
January is always a tough window to move in and players are tasked with hitting the ground running. Familiarity, then, should help McKennie.
