True to form and against what many people thought might happen, Marcelo Bielsa has decided to not to start Helder Costa ahead of Jack Harrison in the 12:30 kick off against Derby County.

Costa was brought on for Harrison mid way through last week’s 2 nil victory over Barnsley and his presence turned Leeds into a much more dangerous attacking unit. Pundits and fans alike thought he might begin with this set-up from the off against Derby.

It is unlike Marcelo Bielsa to alter a winning line-up and it is sometime since Leeds have had such consistency in their matchday squad.

Following the events of last season, there will be a big desperation in Elland Road to seek revenge with Cocu’s team. That being said, with the return of Frank Lampard’s loan players to their parents club there aren’t a great many familiar faces in the Derby team. Old enemies such as Richard Keogh do, however, remain.
