Finally at long last this dreadful season is coming to an end. Leeds have been nice enough to make the game a Category A, truly rewarding the loyal fans. Hopefully this is the last time we see a few of the players and in an ideal world, the manager too. Anyway, onto the team…

GK – Bailey Peacock-Farrell – The game against Norwich was his first below-par game since getting into the team, it’ll be interesting to see what Leeds do in the summer about the keeper position.

Into the defence…

RB – Luke Ayling –

Personally I wouldn’t risk Ayling in a nothing-game however if the alternative is Pennington then nobody should have to suffer through that again.

CB – Paudie O’Connor – Everybody knows what Cooper is, let’s see Paudie again, he deserves it after all.

CB – Pontus Jansson – Could this be Jansson’s last game for the club? I’m not sure his performance this season warrants a Premier League transfer, but there is a lot of interest in the Swedish international. Hopefully the next time we see him at Elland Road it’s alongside Kyle Bartley.

LB – Tom Pearce – After being thrown under the bus by Heckingbottom last week, he’ll be looking to put in another top performance to prove his manager wrong.

Into the midfield…

CM – Kalvin Phillips – Scored a great goal last week, he’s definitely not the most consistent player in the world but if you take a look at our central midfielders this season, he has actually been the best one.

CM – Adam Forshaw – Vieira had a poor game against Norwich so it’d make sense to get a look at Phillips and Forshaw together.

CAM – Samu Saiz – Samu has been off form ever since he spat at a player in January, but with Pablo on his way to Spain for the birth of his child, he’s the only real option.

Into the attack…

RW – Kemar Roofe – His attitude can sometimes be frustrating but you can’t argue with the facts, he has been our most effective forward this season. Although that isn’t saying much.

LW – Gjanni Alioski – We need to see more from Alioski next season, the effort is never an issue but his decision-making is questionable to say the least.

ST – Sam Dalby – Surely we don’t need to see Ekuban or Lasogga again, just give another academy player a debut, especially one as deserving as Dalby.
