After the brilliant boxing day win for Leeds United against Preston North End, the whites face a tough trip to Villa Park where they face the only unbeaten home team left in the Championship. Villa have won 6 and drawn 5 at home so far this season. Leeds’ away form reads 6 wins, 5 defeats. One thing’s for certain, I’d definitely take a point tomorrow.

With players coming back from injuries and Leeds in form, Garry Monk has a bit of a selection dilemma ahead of Thursday’s game – here’s who we think should start for Monk’s Leeds.

GK – Rob Green – Well and truly showed his worth to this team on Monday with a class save to deny Preston the chance to get back into the game at 3-1. He’s going to continue against Villa bar any injury.

Onto the defence…

  1. If Chris wood is 100% he should play, but maybe the Boss will start with the same team as Preston?
I don’t think he’ll risk Hernandez from the off, and he could bring in Ronaldo instead of Calvin, for fresh legs?
    Exciting times!!
