Arsenal have entered the race to sign Leeds United summer transfer target Noa Lang from Club Brugge.

That’s according to a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, who say that the Gunners are preparing a bid for the 22-year-old.

Following an impressive debut campaign with Brugge that saw him score 17 goals in 37 games, Lang was heavily linked with a move to Leeds during the summer transfer window.

Ultimately though, no deal would materialise, with Lang remaining in Belgium for the time being, scoring four goals in ten games already this season.

It was however, recently reported that Leeds remain interested in Lang, and it now seems as though the Whites are not alone with their interest in the Dutchman.

According to this latest update, Arsenal are now also taking an interest in Lang, as they look to further improve their squad going forwards.

It is thought that the Gunners are preparing to bid somewhere in the region of £20million for Lang, who has four years remaining on his current Brugge contract.

This may be something of a concern for Leeds United.

Lang is a quality player, and one who could certainly add to Marcelo Biela’s side if he was to make the move to Elland Road.

However, even with their poor start to the season, Arsenal are still a strong force to be reckoned with financially, having been the Premier League’s biggest spenders this summer.

As a result, the Gunners’ interest in Lang could make it hard for Leeds to get a deal done here, so this could be one to keep an eye on over the coming months.
