The first of many transfer rumours we’ll be getting over the next 24 hours as the January transfer deadline day comes upon us. Mirco Antenucci has apparently told the club he wants to leave and move back to Italy. He has been linked with a move away throughout the window but it is now believed that third tier Italian side Foggia are after his signature.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Antenucci, who joined Leeds in the Summer of 2014, leave Elland Road. I can’t see him signing an extension on his current contract which is set to expire this Summer. According to a few sources, talks are ongoing with Leeds and the players’ agent so it’ll certainly be an interesting day ahead.

Considering Chris Wood is injured, you’d have thought Leeds would be reluctant to let the forward go but hopefully we have a couple of players lined up. We certainly need additions.

Also linked with a move away is Giuseppe Bellusci. Hellas Verona are interested in the centre-back but Leeds don’t want to sell him, especially given our lack of options at the heart of the defence.
