Doesn’t he look happy? Eddie Nketiah is back in training after picking up an injury at the start of this month. He was due to start his first league game of the season but picked up an injury that is believed to be to his abdomen on the eve of the game.
This was a shame for young Eddie who had been in fine form off the bench in the recent weeks.
This return comes amidst speculation that Leeds are preparing for the outcome that he is recalled by Arsenal having played insufficient game time in January, though Leeds are apparently ‘hopeful’ that it won’t happen and I’m sure a lot of it will come down to the striker’s personal preference. With smiles like these, how could he want to leave?
We have detailed why Arsenal should keep Nketiah at Leeds here.
Adam Forshaw is also said to be close to a return to training and posted a similarly positive message outside Thorp Arch on Instagram this morning.
