Plenty of Leeds United fans have been reacting to the news of Jack Harrison’s permanent move to the club.

The winger has been on loan at Elland Road from Manchester City for the past three seasons, but is now a Leeds player long-term.

Over the past three years on loan at Elland Road, Harrison has become an ever more important figure for Leeds.

The 24-year-old has made 128 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring 18 goals and providing 19 assists in that time.

That has made the winger a vital cog in Leeds’ rise back to the Premier League, and he is now set to remain part of the club’s attempts to push further up the top-flight standings.

It has been announced that Harrison has now returned to Leeds permanently on a three-year deal – keeping him with the club until the summer of 2024 – for an undisclosed fee, reported to be worth up to £15million.

Perhaps not surprsingly, plenty of Leeds fans appeared delighted as they took to Twitter to react to news of Harrison’s signing.

Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.

I don’t think you can blame Leeds fan for being excited here.

Harrison was very impressive in the Premier League last season, showing he is more than capable of competing at that level.

As a result, it is hard not to feel as though Harrison will be a big asset for Leeds in the years to come, as the 24-year-old continues to improve with experience.

It is perhaps that what makes this deal even more impressive, when you consider the price they were able to get him for, in comparison to what other players in Harrison’s position will often be sold for.
