5 Wingers that Leeds could sign

It’s not secret that Leeds need some wingers, it has been admitted by Redfearn himself. I’ve done a little bit of research and I’ve come up with 5 names that I think we could go for.

Lloyd Isgrove – 21-year-old promising winger at Southampton, its been rumoured a few times that he is going to go out on loan and I think Leeds would do well to sign him. At only 5’5 he’s not exactly going to be physical, but he could be just the kind of tricky winger that we need. I saw him play for Peterborough a few times last year and he looks very decent.

Knock

Anthony Knockaert – The 22-year-old winger at Leicester will be disappointed to only have played for 94 minutes this season, he was linked with Forest but Stuart Pearce ruled it out. Anyone who saw him play in the championship will know that he’s an excellent player at this level, I think he would improve our team massively.

Sinclair

Scott Sinclair – His career has been somewhat irrelevant for the past few years, he’s only played 11 games for Man City since joining in 2012 and he endured a difficult loan spell at West Brom last season, playing only 8 times. He may need to drop down to the Championship to revive his career, why shouldn’t Leeds go for him? Obviously his wages would be a big and resounding no yet I don’t think Man City would mind paying pretty much all of them.

jack

Jack Grealish – This would probably be a difficult one to pull-off, he’s come on as a sub on a few occasions for Villa, but I think they may be willing to let him go on a short loan to get some proper game time. He’s an extremely highly rated player and has pace and trickery that we lack at Leeds. Would be a great signing in my opinion.

aarons

Rolando Aarons – Last of all, Aarons of Newcastle, the 18-year-old England U20 international can play on either wing and has impressed for Newcastle. He scored in the 3-3 draw against Crystal Palace earlier in the season but I feel that he could be taken on loan. I’m sure Newcastle would accept a young player getting some experience in the championship, it usually improves the player.

I almost mentioned Mad Max, but we all know that’s fading away more and more each transfer window. One thing that is for sure, a few decent wingers would massively improve this team and could give us a play-off push. Let us know what you think about these players and which others you’d like to see us go after.

Knockaet is a good shout. He would really improve our squad, he is a very direct player. I feel that is something we lack at times. We can now pass the ball which is a relief but we do need a penetrative player who runs at players, makes attacking runs and plays in forwards behind the back four.

Massimo only seems to be keen on loan with a view to buy….
Hence maybe only the Leicester lad would work.
For the money, it s more than possible that the fella Salerno has his eye on someone in another country. Better players, cheaper.
