It’s been quite a week at Elland Road. Just as we thought things couldn’t get any more hectic, Rösler was given the boot and replaced swiftly with Steve Evans taking up the head coach position.

Things can only get better, right? If Tuesday nights performance is anything to go by, Evans might well be in the job a lot longer than his predecessors under Cellino. Not the result we were hoping for but if it wasn’t for an inspired Joe Lewis, we would’ve taken all three points back up North.

Nevertheless there were positives to take…

Evans’ post match interview
I was listening to it this morning, and everything he said was pretty much what we all wanted to hear but one thing stuck out from the rest. “This is Leeds United drawing at Fulham. We should be beating Fulham.”

It’s clear that we’re no matter who we’re playing, we’re going to be playing to win rather than contain and counter which is what we pretty much did under Rösler. We’ll see if that’s proved on Saturday away at Bolton.
