Jack Clarke

After Alioski had worn his invisibility cloak for another half, for the second game in a row he was removed at half time for Jack Clarke. The difference was instant and clear to see, Clarke was direct with his runs and challenged defenders, something Alioski consistently fails to do. Clarke’s stamina was questioned against Reading but he didn’t seem to have any problems in Sheffield.

His assist for the goal may seem simple but it was actually a brilliant bit of play from him, the keeper got to him really quickly after the mistake and Clarke lifted it slightly over him to put it on a plate for Hernandez. Surely it’s time he was given a start against QPR?
