The first half was one to forget, the half that followed was a dominating performance from a team that looked as though they deserved to be at the top of the league. Many players failed to turn up for the first 45, but who impressed the most?

Kiko Casilla

Maybe jumping the gun a little bit, but he’s already one of my favourite players. He really reminds me of Casper Ankergren but better at football. He made some brilliant saves, this one especially –

We wouldn’t have won that game without him in net.
Granted, he did look a bit baffled at times as long throw after long throw was hurled into the box.

I think it’s understandable that he wouldn’t be great at dealing with those at this stage, it’s not exactly a tactic in La Liga. Casilla did show some very promising signs in regards to dominating his area and coming for the ball, which will only get better with time. There was a lot to be excited about with his performance.

Mateusz Klich

In the first half I was wondering when we’d ever see Klich play well for Leeds again. However in the second half he was the man we all fell in love with at the start of the season, he was brilliant in every aspect and his winning goal even had a hint of Messi about it.

Hopefully that gives him the confidence he needs to be the player we all know he can be. Expect the Kalvin and Klich partnership to return for the Norwich game.

Jack Harrison

Harrison has taken a lot of flack this season, some of it deserved, but he put in a quietly brilliant performance yesterday. Most of our creative spark came from him and his pass for Klich’s winner was sublime.

Rotherham couldn’t deal with his trickery all game and with Jack Clarke being as quiet as we’ve ever seen him, it was on Harrison to carry the team forward and he did that very well.

Let us know who impressed you most from yesterday’s win!

Agree with the three chosen, if not all the comments. Klich has played well most of the season, even when not scoring. He’s always moving, helping to keep Leeds momentum and rarely wastes a pass. His running off the ball pulls opposition players around to the benefit of colleagues. The goals (and assists) are a bonus, but what a bonus. Casilla got away with a few flaps that poor BPF seemed always to get punished for – but his presence is awesome and he will be immense the more he settles. Harrison at last showing what we know he can do – hopefully a launching pad.
