A much-needed win at Elland Road last night and a great second-half performance to match. There were many good showings but who was the best?

Kalvin Phillips

Without a doubt, Phillips has been our best player so far this season. He started in centre-back last night and moved forward when allowed in the second half, showing off his versatility. He’s probably the first name on the team sheet for Bielsa and if he keeps this form up Leeds may be fending off bids in January. His range of passing last night was just next level.

  1. Surely Liam Cooper (who worries most of us with his careless errors on occasion)deserves a mention for his secure defence and his top class finish with his weaker right foot
